It seems that the warm weather has got toads in the mood. Just this Thursday lots of toads were at it in ponds at Buscot Park Faringdon, Oxfordshire
The photos were taken by Elizabeth Fever, Pond Conservation supporter (and mother of Jo). People are noticing insects, other animals and plants responding to the warm sunshine.
It looks like our amphibians may also being fooled by the warm weather and have started to get back into amplexus.
Have you noticed any amphibians in ponds during this warm weather? If you have spotted toads mating then please do report the sightings in our Record Pool
