Froglife West Yorkshire Toad Summit 25.01.20We are delighted to once again partner Froglife in their 2020 Annual Toad Summit, which will be held at the North Bridge Leisure Centre, in Halifax, West Yorkshire on Saturday 25th January 2020 from 1:30-4:30 pm, along with Calderdale Council, Halifax Scientific Society and local toad patrols. 

Toad patrollers and other amphibian enthusiasts are all welcome to this FREE event which will provide an excellent opportunity to get together, share ideas, and learn more about the best ways to conserve our native toads.

The afternoon will include a docxshort programme of talks with plenty of time for discussion and networking.

Speakers include:

  • Angela Julian, Amphibians and Reptile groups UK
  • Gordon Maclellan, Creeping Toad
  • Hugh Firman, Calderdale Council
  • Steve Blacksmith, Halifax Scientific Society
  • Local Toad Patrol Managers

This event is free, and is open to all Toad Patrollers and anyone else interested in learning more about toad conservation.

Tea and coffee will be provided.

The venue is fully accessible, do let us know if you have any special requirements.

Pay and display parking is available adjacent to the venue in the North Bridge Car park.

The nearest railway station is Halifax Rail Station, which is about a 15 minute walk away from the venue.
