Vast in area this tour focuses on introducing you to the South African wildlife and tourism areas of the Western Cape in particular but includes the magnificent Big 5 game areas of Pilansberg National Park . Weaving the story of South Africa's history as well as current political and social arenas your dedicated English speaking tour leader will inform your understanding of the country 50 million people call home.

Your particular interest in Herpetology is the basis for the tour and we include numerous stops, professionals , organisations and areas for you to immerse yourself in your passion. Even some of our Hotels are picked with your wanderings in the garden in mind. We bring enthusiasts, conservationists and leaders in their field to add depth to your experience and ample opportunity for you to explore areas individually.
