ARG UK 2023 Annual General Meeting (AGM)
Welcome to our ARG UK 2023 Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Thursday 23rd February starting at 7:30 pm. Once again this year we will be on-line and, as ever, all affiliated ARGS and their members are very welcome. In addition to the usual AGM business – notably an update on the ARG network and our NI 'Dragons in the Hills' project, financial review and election/re-election of trustees.
We will also be hearing from two very special invited guests.
- Thomas Duchesne, Biodiversity and Landscape Unit, University of Liège, Belgium, 'What if the alarming decline of the common adder extends far beyond the UK? A sub-continental analysis of the global dynamics of this species.'
- Martin Harvey, UKCEH Biological Records Centre, 'Opportunistic recording of amphibians and reptiles - an introduction to iRecord', which will be followed by a discussion about how the ARGs can best access and verify different record sets'
