Although it's primarily looking at dragonflies and butterflies, I'm sure we can take the opportunity to check out this very special nature reserve for reptiles and amphibians at the same time.
I look forward to seeing you there. (No need to book – just come.) (from Mark Nicholson)

Dragonflies, Butterflies and Lots More
Windmill Farm, The Lizard
1.00pm to 4.00pm
A leisurely walk round this beautiful 200 acre nature reserve with Dougy Wright, looking mainly for dragonflies on the ponds and butterflies in the meadows and heathland. Bring binoculars and cameras. Wear stout boots or wellies. If the weather is unfavourable, i.e. cool and wet, the meeting will be cancelled. (If it's iffy please ring Dougy on 07886 310509 before setting out.)
Meet in the car park at Windmill Farm on the Lizard peninsula (grid ref: SW 694152). Follow the A3083 Helston to Lizard road. 3 km after the B3296 to Mullion Cove, look out for a sign for "Wild Camping" on the right-hand side. Take the next right and follow the lane straight on until you arrive at the farm-yard. Please drive slowly along the lane.
